I moved to Colorado when I was 4 years old & with the exception of a few years in California & Arizona, I consider myself a Colorado Native. I am currently living in Denver with my fabulous husband of 13+ years, Nick; our adorable, 5 1/2-year old daughter, Maggie & Tula the dog.

Shortly after I met my husband, I met an official scrapbook – you know the kind that didn’t have a sticky-back & plastic cover on each page? Over the next 10 years, my style has evolved from the simple Creative Memories circles & rounded corners with Mrs. Grossman’s stickers to funky, vintage, altered & eclectic mixed media. My focus tends to be on the “mini-album,” & to scrapbook by themes or events rather than recording our lives chronologically. Lately though, I have been more into other artistic endeavours by altering found treasures into mixed media pieces or assemblage art.

I recently joined an art group & have thoroghly enjoyed learning new things with these lovely ladies!

I enjoy the luxury of being a stay-at-home mom (most of the time!), & about 3 years ago, I started designing with my mom & sister for our little company, The Scrap-a-Teeny Girls, selling our completed mini-albums & mixed media art on Etsy. Out of the 3 of us, I am the product photographer, Etsy, blogger & social media gal! And that keeps me pretty busy trying to keep up with it all!

Even though I have never been published, I certainly aspire to be found on the glossy, colorful pages of one of the paper-crafting mags or books. One of my dreams is to be a featured artist in one of the Somerset publications. And of course, it would be a dream come true if I were to create something that would warrant being a licensed product line! Woweeee! Wouldn't that be great!

In my spare time, I love to travel with my family & I like to bring home meaningful little treasures & tons of photos! (I have been known to have 800+ pix to go through after a big vacation! Thank God for digital cameras!) I cook, read, listen to music & create whenever possible!
